  In terms of comfort and protection, these boots are fine, but they split along the side (on the outside edge, where the rubber sole meets the leather) after only about 4 months of consistent wear! I'm going to be looking into a refund because it's ridiculous to effectively spend $25 a month for boots.
  
  I'm surprised, the other pair of Work Zone boots I had stood up to much harder use for much longer than these.
