I do a lot of walking on concrete - my Bates side zip boots weren't available again so I thought I'd give these a shot, I like the extra ankle support. Within a couple days, i was getting blisters on the top of my toes on the left foot. The removable insole is nice quality, but too tall, so I think my toes were rubbing the edge of the composite toe on the shoe. It was also pretty flat, so not much arch support. I replaced with shorter height dr. scholls gel inserts, it seemed to just spread the pain elsewhere. I think that maybe this wasn't the ideal boot for me. They are well made. I don't like ordering boots online, ugh.
