PICK UP ONLY – Orders placed here must be picked up at 2571 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory NC 28602. They will not be shipped.

Who is Eligible?

PICK UP service is only available to Saf-Gard direct bill customers in Essential Businesses who require ASTM F2413 safety footwear during the Covid-19 outbreak. Saf-Gard is not offering pick up service to the general public. Your employer must be in an Essential Business and have a direct bill relationship with Saf-Gard in order to use our PICK UP service.

How to place a PICK UP order:

1. Review this website and find a style you like.
2. Place your order either on this site or by calling it into our store.
   1. If you place an order on this site, we will contact you when it is ready for pick up.
      1. If in stock, it could be the same day.
      2. If it is not in stock, we will contact you to select another item or we can ship it straight to your home via UPS.
   2. If you prefer, you can call the store manager directly and we will locate the shoes for you if they are in stock.
      1. In Hickory, call our store manager at (828) 979-0171 and we will locate your shoes.
      2. If they are in stock, then:
         1. We will process the sale and inform you the shoes are ready for pick up.
         2. Call (828) 979-0171 upon arrival for pick up and we will deliver the shoes to you curbside.
      3. If the shoes are not in stock in Hickory, then
         1. Consider having a second option we can check for you.
         2. Or if you prefer we can place an order for you and have the shoes shipped directly to your home.
         3. All special orders must be shipped to your home instead of to the store for pick up during this time.

Upon arrival for pick up, please note you will be asked to wait in our customer zone. Fitting service is not available at this time. Once the sale is processed, you can try the shoes on at home or even in your car before you leave and return for exchange if they do not fit. Thank you for your understanding during these times.

FEDERAL OSHA 1910.136 requires employers with certain defined hazards to ensure employees wear appropriate safety shoes. Continuing safety under OSHA guidance is critical at this time as at any other time. At Saf-Gard we continue to provide the approved ASTM rated safety shoes your employer requires. We appreciate your understanding of our modified delivery at this time.
