    Not what I expected

    Read the reviews and this shoe did disappoint. I have wide feet - but not wide enough to wear wide shoes. I have high arches. I love Dansko clogs. I wear them most of the time. If you have worn Danskos - then you know they are a little wider than some shoes and they have great arch support. That said...
    These shoes have almost zero arch support, I had to look in the shoe to see of there was any and there wasn’t. All I felt was air under my arches. They are extremely wide. So wide that the shoe was slipping front to back as I walked. A lot of extra room in these shoes. I thought that if I put in some arch supports that maybe that would take some of the extra space up - but I knew that ultimately These shoes would end up at the thrift store - so I sent them back.
    I love that my union provides us free shoes once a year and was pleased with the Skechers that I received last year through this program.
    But I know how important my feet are. And inadequate quality shoes are not good even if they are free.
    At least I can wear the Skechers to the gym. But for work - I wear better shoes than these.
