If you want a work boot thats true to size and a wide width. Well look no further. Very comfortable.

These boots started off comfortable, but wore out after a walking around in the yards for school car. The scuffs that others described aren't the worst part. My feet were wet everytime I came home, so the waterproofing means they don't breathe well. The inserts were terrible- no cushioning after a month. Do not get these if your job requires a lot of walking. Also, I slipped a lot in the winter.

I had these shoes over 1 month, can't return them, wish I could. At first I thought they were great, so light/seemed comfortable.
But they never break in, must be fake/synthetic material at the toe locations, as I have wide feet, both left and right side of each foot, and the shoe cuts into my feet. I got the extra wide size too, I'll definitely avoid these and go with Rockport probably next time.
I have the wolverine W10103 those are great, but those I bought on my own. Can't recommend these shoes, may be you'll have better luck. The leather got scuffed up in 3 days time from light use. The sole is very rigid and inflexible ( which could be a plus for Track or Signals). I like my Cat's a lot better. I was just trying to get a pair that I can keep presentable. These are def not it.

I've worn these wolverines for a year and find them light, comfortable and durable. I've heard the exact same about the avengers and the caterpillars; I think any MTA person will have similar reviews for any shoe that isn't the old monstrosity we were issued. More specifically on these wolverines - the boot material is durable/supportive but soft/flexible so it doesn't pinch/poke when bending your foot, the top is soft/supportive around the ankle but isn't plush further down so it feels roomy, the tongue is soft like a sneaker's but thicker - wont protect you from anything heavy but certainly dampens smaller impacts, I cant feel the composite toe liner from the inside - it is well shaped, the insole is a comfortable medium foam, the inside is tall in my size 12EW so it can accommodate a thicker sole if you want to replace the original, they don't "breathe" obviously but I wouldn't say my feet sweat in them - I find them tolerable year round, after a year of work they don't smell (much).
