After a year and a half with these boots the middle of the sole has broken in half, allowing water to seep in any time I step into a puddle of any depth. I would expect from Timberland some sort of hard material in between the insole and the treads, but instead once you get through the rubber tread all you're met with is the soft fabric of the insole. But even had this not happened I doubt I would have rated the product highly; the toes are way too tight and the treads get gunked up with various grime within the first two hours of a shift, even if you cleaned them out perfectly just yesterday. Of course all nonslips are prone to this but these boots in particular felt as if they were drawing grime into them as I worked. The killer was definitely the breaking of the treads though. I cannot stress how absolutely disgusting it is just walk over a wet floor and wind up with soaked socks, that I then have to work another 4,6,8,or even 10 hours in.

I ordered these shoes through my work uniform order application. These shoes have worked well within the year I have been owning and wearing them.
While wearing them, after a week my left shoe has appeared to take quite heavy damage. The safety toe feature with these shoes work quite well.
I recommend that you purchase a wax or so, because not only will the shoes dull rather quickly, but because they are leather, they will degrade and begin to crack. My once perfectly sealed shoes now allow water to seep into the cracks and through the places where the seams meet at various points.
I do believe with proper care and maintenance these shoes would last more than a year of heavy use, but alas I will be needing to order another pairOverallComfortSlip ResistancesArch Support: Excellent arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to width
