I work in the meat dept. constantly standing and on the move. The first pair I ordered didn't even come with insoles. The second pair that was sent to me as replacements came with some unbelievably bad insoles that gave no comfort. over the past couple months I have tried to find insoles that would help and all that has happened has made my feet worse with blister forming on one foot. now I will have to try and find a different pair of shoes possibly with a different provider.
The only positive they were showing good signs for being a shoe that could last in wet conditions and or solid built shoe.OverallComfortSlip ResistancesArch Support: Minimal arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to widthExcellent Slip Protection

I originally bought these because I worked in a wet environment and wanted waterproof, slip resistant boots. The slip protection is second to none. There can be wet or oily areas and I won't slip. They are by no stretch waterproof, however. I wouldn't even call them water resistant. My feet got wet the first time I wore them in a shallow puddle. I've owned 3 pairs of these now and none of them are waterproof. I love the grip and comfort though, so they are still worth it.
They are pretty comfortable to wear all day. I use a padded insole (I use these in all my boots). They can get hot and sweaty in the summer. I have a boot drier I put them on to dry them out. I end up replacing them because they smell so bad, not because they have worn out. Walking through puddles will dramatically accelerate the rate at which they will die due to odor.
Even without waterproofing, these are still great boots at a good price. Well worth it. They will last you a long time and the grip is outstanding. I don't dare climb a ladder without wearing them anymore.OverallComfortSlip ResistancesArch Support: Excellent arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to widthmr. mark

I put a lot of miles on my work shoes in a day . My work day consists of a lot of walking and alot of bending to my knees lots and lots. I can wear out the tread and bust out the sides of them pretty fast. I am a tuff critic. But I got to take time and write this quick review and say these boots have held up very well and when I finally wears these out I intend to order another pair.

I got these shoes about 3 months ago. I got them because I was tired of having to clean the floors at my job and coming home with soggy shoes, socks, and feet. after finally getting rid of the athletes foot I got from the soggy shoes, I finally went online to try and find a pair of non slip work boots that were comfortable, that were also waterproof. After looking for awhile I came across these. I was skeptical at first because I have very large feet and even bigger expectations of my footwear, but after reading several reviews I decided to drop the 80+ dollars to get them. I got the shoes in about a week. The first thing I did was fill my bathtub with up to about 4 inches of water and stick the shoe in, just to check the waterproof capabilities and to my surprise the shoes performed. these shoes are sized very well they fit nicely, I haven't slipped yet (and work around a lot of grease) and the most important part is that they are waterproof. The only complaint that I have is that they are difficult to get on in a hurry and that they stop being that comfortable after about 7-1/2 to 8 hours of non-stop standing other than that they are an awesome investment for someone looking for waterproof, nonslip boots that will last for a long time.

I am a former shoes for crews buyer and was still not happy with the choices being offered for my desired style of serious kitchen footwear. After browsing the internet and finding SRMAX and this shoe I am completely satisfied with it's quality construction, comfort and it's non-slip performance. even if this shoe were to be out of stock SRMAX has similar styles that would know doubt fit the bill. I highly recommend SRMAX shoes.
