  Disappointed, I expected more from Rockport. Poor footbed padding and a very hard and uncomfortable tongue in the shoe. The bend area of the shoe also is getting wrinkles after one week of wear.

  Best office/work shoes I have ever owned.

  I've been the lab/R&D field for over 20 years, most of it in the food industry, and I have to say that these are by far the best shoes that I have ever owned. I need a shoe that looks good for the office, but also has non-slip soles for the lab and for working in freezers and coolers. I’ve tried a number of different approaches. I’ve tried Shoes for Crews a number of times (4, maybe 5 times) and have always been very disappointed with their lack of durability. They look nice when they’re brand new, right out of the box, but that only lasts a couple of weeks. Once the leather is broken in, it looks, well, really broken in – all buckled and cheap looking. Worse of all, I’ve had the experience more than once where the leather uppers separated from the soles after less than half a year. And even if they go beyond 6 months, their soles wear very quickly. Junk.
  I’ve tried department store shoes. These tend to look better longer, but the concern was that the soles really aren’t slip resistant, and thus not compliant with our company’s safety policy.
  These Rockports though are a fantastic find. Stylish, well made, and very durable. I’ve been wearing the same pair for over a year now and I can’t believe that the soles look almost brand new. Aside from a few dings and nicks in the uppers, the leather still looks great. It kept its shape and didn’t get all deformed and buckled on the top of the instep. Though they still have a lot of life left in them, I’ve just ordered a replacement pair, so that I’ll be all set when it’s time to retire these.

  I have been in Food service for 18 year and have purchased several pairs of shoes from (Shoes from Crews) simply because of payroll deduct. I will have to say that this is the very best set of shoes I have owned. I have had them already about 6 months and still look good.

  As a busy Multi-Service Operations Manager who needs to have an attractive oxford for business dress, yet practical in kitchen environments where non-slip shoes are required, this one is perfect. I have ordered 3 pairs in the last 3 years, and am getting ready to order another. In past experience with our OTHER safety shoe provider (I won't say where we used to order SHOES FOR OUR CREWS...)the shoes I ordered would fall apart after a couple of months. These are solid, and usually last a year or more.

  I’ve been in the restaurant business half my life. I have work every position there is from bus boy to manager. These are by far the worst shoes I have purchased throughout my career. I have had them about 8 weeks and the backs are already ripping. There is very little heal and arch support therefore my lower back and knees are getting no support. Not comfortable at all for cement floors. I don’t even want to give them one star, but negative stars are not an option.
