These are just the boots I was looking for to fill my work place requirements AND my personal preferences. These have the nano / composite safety toe which helps to keep them light, just as light as most any 6" non-safety hiking boot. The only downside is that they are not waterproof. I always treat all my boots and shoes with a waterproofer spray (silicone based), so this was not a deal breaker for me. I've been wearing them everyday for more then 2 weeks, and have been very comfortable.
