PUNCTURE RESISTANTThese shoes are designed to reduce the impact of sharp objects which are damaging to the foot. Puncture wounds can be hazardous to the midsole of the foot and the appropriate footwear is necessary on job sites where sharp objects can pierce the sole. STEEL SAFETY TOEIn 1995 OSHA began enforcing a new standard for personal protective equipment. As part of this standard employers now require ASTM F2413-24 rated safety footwear in areas where employees are exposed to injury as a result of falling or rolling objects. All steel toe boots with this icon meet or exceed ASTM F2413-24 I/C standards.
WATERPROOFWaterproof boots and shoes are constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. Waterproof construction requires continuous maintenance and is not guaranteed to remain for the life of the shoe.
